Equal Housing Opportunity

  Building Process

Step 1: Preconstruction Meeting

This gives you a chance to meet the professionals that will be building your new home and to discuss the site location, floor plan, and features that you would like included in your new home.

Step 2: Rough-in Walk-through

Before all of the plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and wiring is installed, you will have the opportunity to walk through with a Potter Custom Homes representative and sub-contractors to discuss locations and options of such items as light fixtures, speakers, and many other items.

Step 3: Quality assurance inspection

After the drywall is done and the interior finish work is complete there will be a comprehensive quality inspection conducted by Potter Custom Homes and the buyer.

Step 4: Pre-closing orientation

Prior to closing on your new home you will have the chance to meet with us and receive an introduction to everything in your new home.

Step 5: 30 Day follow-up

30 days after you move in Potter Custom Homes will check in with you to make sure that everything is working properly and to your satisfaction.

Step 6: 6 Month follow-up

Another phone call at 6 months just to make sure that everything is still as good as the day you moved in.

Step 7: 11 Month follow-up

At 11 months Potter Custom Homes will call and make sure any customer service issues are submitted within the one-year warranty period.
